Bengali little magazines record the grooming of talents in different fields of literature. They encourage experiments and enhance the variation of quality writings from young talents. Innumerable in number these magazines are also the initiators of different literary movements. These little magazines are stray in nature and scattered over a vast geography of Bengali speaking area in the world. Our website endeavours to collect and bring those magazines together with in the purview of cultural and literary trends which are varied and beautifully different in identity. This effort will result into a contribution to save many valuable records of literary experiments, which may be easy to be forgotten otherwise during the course of time.
In Bengali culture e-dur also steps in. To promote poor or new artisans through this site is our commitment. We have already introduced e-cards of different categories and tastes. Debate on different issues is a popular page of this site and participation is high on the board. ‘etc’ (Ityadi) is a page of special interest where everyone contribute their creations. Importantly, we publish a dynamic e-magazine, ‘edur’ where one can find contemporary quality Bengali writings. We are also preparing our archive where selected writings are preserved for readers and researchers. Beside different fields of Bengali literature like poetry, story, novel etc we specially concentrate to create a bank of valuable articles in the archive
page.
e-dur.net is growing fast. To keep pace with the growth we are looking for more people who can work for e-dur. Persons have literary or creative senses are welcome to join us.
